We’re happy to announce the promotion of two leaders from within the ranks of GlobalNOC.
Corey Donovan, formerly manager of business operations, has been named director of service operational excellence, a brand-new position at GlobalNOC. He will be responsible exclusively for the Service Desk and leading our upcoming Service Desk review. Corey will continue to support the business development office and welcomes two new members to that team, Heath Werling and Heather Starks.
Corey has a breadth of experience both in the Service Desk and in the business development space, which will serve him well as he begins his new role. “I know that Corey is ready to provide the leadership that will take us to that next level of excellence here at the GlobalNOC,” said Marianne Chitwood, executive director, GlobalNOC client services.
The next leadership change is a direct result of our new, three-year agreement with Internet2. Matt Malott will serve as the acting manager of the Internet2 network engineering team, where he will support the engineers and lead the evolution of their roles and responsibilities as we move into the new contract.
After joining IU in 2020, Matt quickly gained expertise on the Internet2 community and network. “He wasted no time in immediately building a strong reputation within GlobalNOC and with Internet2,” said Luke Fowler, executive director, software and network engineering. “I have great confidence in Matt’s ability to quickly jump into this role and to excel in it!”
Congratulations to both Corey and Matt on their new roles!
